-Bazaar @ Geylang Serai-

Kinda lost feeling for blogging... hahahahah... I think my mind is too tired and its affecting my mood to write...

Thankfully, there's the entry from d@n's blog which pretty much summarised last Friday's dinner!

"today's outing @ Malay Village with yimei, charlene, fran, weikun and eugene! hohoho! went around grabbing any food that we think is nice and just whack! shiokalingam! the Ramley Burger is damn good lah! beef + egg + cheese = happiness! hahaha.. bought otah, ming jiang kue, you tiao with fish cake, and many other "cha-pa-lang" food! oh ya! did i forget to mention that we were @ Rockery at paya lebar having my favourite MANGO TANGO??? haha! shiOk! after Malay Village, we then proceeded to Geylang to have Frog porriage. damn good i tell you.. kinda spicy! but a bit the ex lah... $18 for a small pot of "dunno how many frog legs only" porriage. but heck lah! happy can already! talked lotsa cock there bout "coming".. haha.. and who enjoyed most of the dirty jokes? fran! haha.. who's the one most act blur one? charlene! haha... really enjoyed my friday evening with them.."

Frog porridge... well JoE, if you are reading this, yup, frog porridge is probably one of those few unusual food I would eat! Hahahaha... if I recall correctly, this is the second time I ate frog porridge. Not too bad and I kinda liked the spicy taste! Note, I'm not stating the frog meat yeah.. hahahah..

Interestingly, no matter where we are, we would somehow get into the topic of ehem.. The thing is, we would be talking about it out loud, and I mean really loud as though the people around us are invisible! Yet, the laughter it brings us is just the right dosage to keep us going for the following week. So, like Char once said, friday dinners are our weekly dosage of laughter! ^.^

This is actually the third consecutive year since I've been to the bazaar... The first time was with Mel, Azi and Kabby... where we ate loads and jalan almost the whole bazaar... The second time was with just Azi and Kiat... didn't get to jalan as much since time was running short then. This time round, with the company above, we ate loads once more but didn't really jalan much too since those 2 guys had thunder clouds above their heads! Hahahhaha... but still, the company was great!

Time really flies...

5 weeks of SIP to go...

10 weeks of school ahead followed by 2 weeks of exams...

15 weeks to Prom...

I think I'm going to miss Raffles Place... having breakfast with Joe... having lunches with various people... the lawyers in Rodyk... Joe... and Mike...

5 more weeks... and Joe would be away for a week while Mike would be away on my last week...

Things have definitely changed... thots that I once hold firm to are no longer in place... 3 more months for me to ponder... 3 more...

-Photos @ Mr BeaN-

-ASHR AccomplisheD-

Haha... 6hrs of endless chattering... lotsa photo taking and 3 sessions of ceremony!

But I'm truly happy to be able to finally take photos of those students of mine... and Kase's beloved Ah Pek! ^.^ Kase ah, this is purely for you!!! Hahahah... Along with Nigel, these two chatty ones really made me laugh endlessly during the first session!

And of course, I definitely took more photos with my dearie Julia... I even took photos of her with the Kumon's President from Japan!

And here are the photos from all 3 sessions... the children are just too many...

Not forgetting my beloved Celine! I haven't seen her for more than half a year! Though she doesn't remember me, she warmed up to me within seconds and she has certainly grown up! She even memorised the 三字经 and read it out loud in front of everyone! ^.^

There's also Micah, who is 4 years old and she reads very very well! Initially, she refused to read, guess she had stage fright... But, upon hearing that she will be receiving a present afterwards, she started reading straight away!

Last but not least, some of my other babies in the centre... aren't they just adorable!!!!

Guess now all of you know what I meant by I really feel like a mother... Geez... Its been really tiring but looking at these photos... its all worthwhile!

-DiNNer @ Mr BeaN-

Met up with d@n, KuN, chaR and QueeN for dinner @ Mr BeaN yesterday. This is the third time I've been there since last year and as usual, we sat at the same table. The food was as good as before and the staff were friendly. I just thought they were kinda short of staff... hahahah

Just as I thought this session won't be a repeat of last week's dinner, I was proven wrong... In fact, it kinda got worst! Hahahahah... We must have made a din in that little restaurant but laughter is just the best medicine ever! In fact, as long as kUn and d@n is around, we will never stop laughing!
Imagine, if those guys ever become radio deejays....

"Hi, this is d@n wong & the flying Ryan" .... Or should it be "the flying Lion"??

Interestingly, both me and d@n found out yesterday that we used to attend the same tuition centre in our secondary school days! Hahah... yeah, Leow Training Centre is just memorable... "Molecules"....

-ASHR-

Kumon is celebrating ASHR ceremony this coming Sunday...

I can still recall last year's ceremony... I was with them for about 2-3 months then and got involved in the planning of the event.

It was a tiring day...

2 sessions...

Lots of children chatting at the same time...

Lotsa balloons...

A little chaotic...

But at the end of the day, seeing those kids under my guidance getting their prizes made me smile... and it was barely 3 months...

Now, 1 & 1/2 years later, I feel almost like a mother... GeeZ... BUT, I'm pretty sure the joy will be immense! However.... I found out that there was a change in location for the ceremony yesterday...

The location shocked me...

So here is a warning to all... Stay Away from EAST POINT this coming Sunday from 9am - 3pm... I'm serious..

P.S. --- Thanks to Chinks who reminded me about the Sistic charges, Please note that the tickets for Budak Concert in DeC are priced @ $30, $50 and $70!!! Sorry for any inconvenience! And Cowpat, I will be going for both days! Haha.. had a proposition with Joe, you guys will find out more on that day itself! =)

-Binz, Zaid & mE @ SakuRa-

There you have it, pictures of our birthday gaL in her new haircut!! ^.^

Met up with Binz and Zaid yesterday and we had dinner at Sakura. Supposed to head for the bazar but the rain made us change our plan. Nevertheless, we had a great time catching up with one another with the usual animated talk and expressions!

To Kun, d@n and Char who have been laughing at my pronounciation over the past few weeks, you guys should have heard Binz yesterday... she is just as bad!!! Hahahaha... Don't believe?

Waiter : "Can I take your order?"

Binz : "Yes please, I would like to have the Thai green Colour"

mE & Zaid : -looked at Binz in amazement- "Thai green colour???" -burst out laughing-

Binz : -sheepish- "No no! I meant Thai green CURRY!!!"

(note - even the waiter was trying not to smile)

Towards the end of the meal, as we were discussing on whether journalists' articles get published without editing...

Binz : "... but the governship sponsership... "

Zaid : "sponsership??"

Binz : "No no! I mean censorship..."

So, as you can see, I am not the only one who pronounce words wrongly alright....
Unless that's why we are good frens huh Binz??? Hahahahah

On a different note, have you ever thought that what was wrong in the past may be right in the future? And how certain things that is viewed as wrong in the present time may be seen as correct in the future??? Ever thought how things like being in an undecent trade or in a unwanted position may be seen as wrong to the world but how to differentiate between right and wrong when we aren't in those people's position?? Confusing isn't it... Yeah.. Sure is confusing...

-Birthday Shout Out-

Here's 3 birthday shout out!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO...

XIONG AND RACHEL! Happy 22nd and 19th Birthday respectively!

And to BinZ! Happy belated birthday once again! Though its like pouring right now, I still expect to see you later yeah! =)

As I read the entry that Bin's fren made, I kinda got drawn back to the times spent with Bin as well. I was reading through all the testimonials on friendster and memories came back in a flash. It seemed just yesterday when more than 5 years have passed since we first met each other.

She was the power Sop and a fast sprinter... not forgetting the lychee drinks she must have after each sprint. She was the one person I cried so many a times in front of and yet, there was still that one time I told her I needed another fren to cry on when she's right in front of me. But 5 years down the road and our friendship still holds strong.

I dun know how we did it, but we did it anyway... not just both of us but the 5 of us.. One in HK, one in MEL and 3 in town.. lets hope all 5 of us can finally meet next Feb yeah? (Ehem to that sumone who wishes to spend V-day at HK)

-FriendS-

Interesting how my friends always appears when I need them the most...

I caught up with Chris just moments ago at one of the pavalions at my place downstairs and indeed, its been a really long while since we last spoke! Many things have happened as usual... Still, I need to thank you, for keeping me in check and all the chatter... =)

I need to thank a few other people as well... to the one who lent me a shoulder yesterday, I really hope I didn't shocked you. But, the two of you brought so much laughter to me and Char, I think all negative thoughts were cancelled out! ^.^ Thank you d@n and kUn..

I baked again today... had orders to meet but I reckon this will be the last time I'll be baking for awhile. But of course, as my colleague look at me in despair to hear that I dun intend to bake till CNY, I would probably bake two more times for the year, once next month and one last time in Dec.. SO, to all those who wants, please let me know earlier ok? Cos of late, I've been just producing 6 bottles... the most 7 bottles (if I dun burn any cookies along the way) Hahahah.. So, limited stock yeah, otherwise, wait till CNY bah!

Internship has been progressing along just fine.. as time passes, more ties are formed and I can feel the attachment to my desk as well as the people around me. I reckon by the time 2nd Dec comes, I would have one more place to think about.

Interestingly, one of the AR actually told me that I could still run away from the law... hmmm.. food for thought yeah? Hehehhe... But who knows what God has plan for me? Afterall, I'm still quite amazed by the different lessons He has brought to me in the past week. As much as I can't see the purpose of this particular lesson, at least I know, I've learnt to be smarter, in God's grace!

Enjoy the weekend!

-Darkness-

I though I bid farewell to Darkness

But Darkness said Hello once more

What is this sinking feeling I feel

What is this stabbing pain I can't rid

I have never once given up

Though I've fallen so many a times

Why can't you just bid me farewell?

And let Sunlight re-enter my life...

-Save mE-

I drift I burn I fly
When you sing lullables
I'm helpless I yearning
I'm like putty in your hands

I laugh I dream I cry
When you take me on a roller coaster ride
You see me through and through
You see just who I am
Just take my hand and

Save me from this place
Heaven knows I'm falling
For you, my sweet embrace
Heaven knows
Heaven knows I've been waiting for you

I had a dream that I
Was falling from the sky
At 90 miles an hour
I was bound to crash and die
But out of nowhere, you came and rescued me
There must be some grace, in the touch of your face
I'm so happy that I've found you
I'm no longer afraid

Oh, cause you
Save me from this place
Heaven knows I'm falling
For you my sweet embrace
Heaven knows
Heaven knows I've been waiting

Before I met you
Life was slow-mo
So slow-mo
I though I had it figured out
But you came and turned my whole world upside down

Save me from this place
Heaven knows I'm falling
For you, my sweet embrace
Heaven knows
Heaven knows you've come to

Save me from this place
Heaven knows I'm falling
For you, my sweet embrace
Heaven knows
Heaven knows I've been waiting for you
Waiting for you

-NormaL CreatE PaGe-

Finally! My Create Page is back to normal! Hahahah...

The weeks just seems to pass by faster... its already week 3 of the SIP period! I think it will be over before long...

This week has been a rather good week so far... Started off the week on a happy note as I showered almost everyone in the office with my favourite product. I think I should think of a name for it... how about Happy Truffles? Everyone seem to be happy after eating it most of the time... hahahah..

I had my fair share of court goings, researches, drafting of legal docs and endless editing of powerpoint slides.... geez, I dun think I ever wish to do anymore powerpoint slides.... So far so good I guess. Just trying to fight the sleepy feeling I get after lunch everyday... hahahah

OK, time to go watch this ice-cream cooking show... More over the weekends then! =)

-Is there something wrong with Blogger???-

Ok, for some reasons, I seem to have problems with Blogger......

Even my Create Post page is aligned in a strange way!

So, is it the host site or my computer?????

Cos I just cant seem to upload photos anymore and now that the Create Post page looks funny, I really have no idea what the problem is....

On another note, since nobody is making a guess for the earlier post, I shall with-hold the answer till later...

Kumon celebrated Children's Day today! And I finally got to take a photo with my dearest student! =) Its like a dream come true... hahaha... well, you would only understand the difficulty of taking a photo when you work in my centre lah huh...

But I can't upload the photos.... which my student's mommy has already kindly sent it to me... I also cant upload the sentosa pics from last Sat! .... Guess I have to upload it later.... once I fix this.

Still, Sentosa last week was fantastic! We had lotsa laughter once again and had fun burying d@n in the sand! And we made him into a "pregnant lady", which caught the attention of two tourists who request to take a photo with him! Wahahahah! We also got to see d@n in action as he helped save a man who was struggling in the water and boy was the lifeguard swift as well! Within moments, he got to the man's side, just seconds after d@n got to him!

After more frisbee throwing and soaking in the sea, we finally went to shower, only to be disgusted as I showered in record timing.... To think that I believe all gals have good hygiene.... I was definitely proven wrong that day..........

Still don't understand why gals can't be more hygienic... can't understand why Sentosa can't build more shower rooms!!! We had to wait like more than an hour just to shower! ....

Thankfully, dinner time made up for the disgusting sight. Once again, we had lotsa laughter over a certain interesting topic of which we were talking so loud about it, I wondered if those sitting around us ended up suffering from ear problems! Haha!

Ok, time to go.. more soon I hope.. esp with those photos!
