11weeks of new experiences

11 weeks of new colleagues...

First day at work was pretty good actually, had orientation for about 2hours followed by lots of introduction to the various lawyers present. I got to start off with the Litigation Dept first while Naz is over at Real Estate. And we are separated by 16 floors.. hahah

Not too bad... more work is streaming in as more lawyers start communicating with me... Went to Sub courts today and saw Charmane, Roihan and Lela! Haha.. but couldn't chat as lawyer was standing right next to me. Shall be heading to Family court tomorrow!

Exam results are coming out tomorrow....

Bleah...

I met up with Michael for lunch on Tue. We ate at the foodcourt in People's Park Centre as he had to go to the Courts after. It was a great time talking to him! Hahah... he seem to know the old folks around there as weLL! And I learnt that he will be changing to a firm near Raffles Place next month! Haha... So is JOE! He would be transferred to the Battery Road branch in a month's time as well! Hahah... more lunch meetings for 3 of us then!

I'm feeling sleepy already... guess I should try to turn in early... -results tmr- AHhhhhHHhh...

A word I used to describe a fren weeks ago.. one who once claimed that he considered me and another as frens cos we accepted each other as who we are...

Apparently I was wrong, cos he didn't understand why I told him off and called him an asshole..

Too naggy for you..

But I guess, the fact that I need to apologise showed that you never once accepted me as who I was... cos you couldn't accept criticism from me.

If you have a problem with me, take it in front of me. Don't go one big round and tell every other person but me..

Nobody likes criticism... but if you see me as a fren, tell me off. Otherwise, back off.

Went to watch Snow Wolf Lake yesterday... it was truly breathtaking! Jacky's and Yvonne's voice was just powerful to the maximum! Pity though, I had 2 'commentators' sitting behind me and they just wun stop blabbering away... BLEAH... Not to mention, the guy just keeps talking and sings off-key as well... hahahah

Went to Sentosa today! Splendid weather! And I learnt to play frisbEE! Hahahah... Its really been a looooonnggg while since we went Sentosa together! And with the entertainment provided by "Dr Wong" and "Dr Ho", my diaphram was worked to its maximum! Haha.. And we saw a stadium shaped cloud!

mE, kuN, biN and fRaN then had dinner along Siglap and then had drinks at Gelare... Took some lovely photos with kuN showing his favourite action!

Time to zzz.... I'm truly burnt! hahah... more moisturizer for me! hahaha...

I've never felt so tired before... Its like my eyes are screaming to close while I struggle to keep them open.

Work's been zapping alot of my energy...

Thankfully, tomorrow is Friday! Time sure flies... I'm sure going to miss the food... as well as the food in the pantry!

Was on half day today... met Juan for lunch and then met Jo for a drink before she takes off to UK for the next 4 months. Been quite awhile since I spoke to both ladies and I had a great time catching up with them despite my eyes wanting to nod away in between. Bin couldn't make it for lunch last minute but I sure hope to see her on Sat! YeaH! A few of us are heading to SentosA for a beach outing! Hahah... I sure am looking forward to it!

Ok, I think I've done enough adjustments with regards to my blog's layout... To those who uses extra large fonts on their comps, you will probably need to read it using middle sized font lah. =)

NB - Possibility of the garnishee order to be struck off is there as party decided to make an offer to settle last minute --- which literally means it is possible that whatever I've done would no longer be necessary ---

Telephone calls in between

Letters to be stuck into envelopes and be stuck with stamps

Doors to be opened for clients

EULENE is coming back tomorrow!!! I've never been happier... I just can't do two different duties at the same time... its juz overbearing as much as I know I should try to get use to it. But one thing good came out of it... I can do EFS for garnishee documents now... quite well in fact.. hahahah...

Working hours of 745-630 for the past two days is just draining me out flat... been waking up at 625am every morning to follow mom out so as to get to work at about 740am. Suppose to end at 530pm but i just can't seem to leave the office. Hahaha... but I believe tomorrow onwards would be better days... -cross fingers-

Law BBQ was fantastic! The food... Mamamia! MX is really a good cook. I never knew that herbs and spices can make a hotdog taste like gourmet food! And his version of the Ramly Burger was just lovely. I never ate so much at a BBQ before! Ms Lim came by as well and she brought along a pot of corn soup which had Yolander as its biggest fan. And I don't think anyone would forget Kay's spicy sphagetti and mutton curry and chappati! For a person like me, who rarely eats anything associated with mutton, I think Kay did a fantastic job cooking it! =) We took loads of photos... shall post them up once Azi loads them up! ^.^ More till then!

Time flies as usual...

I needed a gooD rest since it would be a rather bz week ahead.

Guess I did managed to rest enough but I definitely could do with more rest.. hahah

Still, fUn is just beginning! In about 3 hours time! Yup, Law BBQ at ECP... Due to unforeseen circumstances, it is now a Year 3 Law BBQ... hmmm.. good time for us to chill out yeah? I've seen the ingredients of the menu today and it looks promising!

So calling out to aLL YEAR 3 L&M people! BBQ TODAY! Come and enjoy yourselves after the exams and bring a smile to the children who will benefit from today's earnings!

HWP is short of staff so I went back there as backup and will be there till next week. Kinda lost the working pace but it is gradually coming back.. I reckon tmr, mon and tue would be bz days for me... hahah... Near Tanjong Pagar next week? I'll be free for lunch on Mon, Wed and Fri.. hahahahahahha... =P

Which reminds me... Mr Pok is my liaison officer for my internship... Yeah...
Hopefully I'll get a good break over this weekend, esp at Law BBQ on SUNDAY at ECP, BBQ pits 63 and 64! $10/- per person, $5 will go to Project Twinkle! ComE ComE ComE!!!!

This week is parents communication week. I hope to be a dummy teacher for the week - at least I won't say the wrong things to the parents.. Just give me a pile of homework to mark and I'll be contented.

I can't believe it...

I actually spent the last 20 mins or so freaking out over this little thing that was crawling in circles of my bathroom floor... Best of all, my mother - the one whom i taught fear nothing, commanded me to get rid of it.. Wahahahaha... I nearly went bonkers.... -_-

It was a lizard... a not so small lizard who captured the attention of 1 gal and 2 grown women, all squeezed in the toilet with constant "YIKES" and mass retreat out of the toilet.

I was exhausted though.. guess helping out at 3pm and taking breaks in between while waiting for the rain to stop kinda tire me out more easily! Hahah...
