*********************************************

Hi Everyone!

As stated above, Dr Zecky and TACS have organised this concert where various primary school choirs take centre stage and perform away for the love of music. ^^

Please contact myself or anyone else from TACS if you are interested to attend the concert or to sponsor tickets (no limit as to numbers but would be good if tickets are sponsored in pairs)

WHY? So that we can spread this festive joy and let the children of lower income families get a chance to attend this concert with their parents. For more details, feel free to drop me an email or contact me!

Thank you!

-Law Fraternity GamEs-

Ironically, I attended my first Law Fraternity Games after I graduated from TP.

LFG was hosted by TP this year and Muntaz had smsed us about it on Friday. Since I had nothing planned on Saturday and one of the games was Ultimate Frisbee, I thought it would be nice going down to observe and find out how the game was played.

I was dressed appropriately for any 'just in case' moments.

Didn't really expect to participate in the game.

I must say, though we got trashed and razed to the ground, the juniors and I had put up quite a fight. Given that the juniors were playing frisbee for the first time yesterday and we were up against opponents who practise frisbee like every thursday, our group improved as we played against NUS Law and the Law Soc players.

Yesterday was made quite memorable by LFG. Although it would have been made more memorable had the usual gang of people been around like in past years, it was fun seeing some familiar faces among the crowd, like lawyers and pupils from the firm. ^^ Guess it is possible for some of us in R&D to form a team and play ultimate frisbee!

-LazinG OuT-

It sure is fun waking up late on a Tuesday... Even yesterday didn't really felt like a working day with quite a number of colleagues on leave.

My blog meter reads 7000 visitors... I never thought it would hit this far when I first started my blog. Hahaha... Thank you to all who drops by to read once in awhile. I don't update often but will keep this blog going as long as I'm around.

Just realised that I didn't blog about my after-concert thoughts.

The Mozart and Haydn's concert was a 'comeback' concert for me after about 5 years. I have had other concerts and carolling but this was one full concert that I'm fully involved for the first time in so long.

THANK YOU AZI, TANIA, my cousin-Jo, her friend and my SISTER for supporting me at the concert!

To tell the truth, I was jittering on stage that night. Must have been the lack of 'audience-exposure' for a really long time. Hence, I had to stop myself from jittering too much and hit the wrong notes. The stress level was up too as 2 sops couldn't make it for the concert last minute (as their bosses did not approve their leave... humpf). Luckily, we managed to pull it off alright. ^^

The mooncake festival cum ramadan (in Dr Zecky's words) celebration was a night of much laughter and music. Being in Dr Zecky, Thomas and Mus' company alone is delightfully funny enough. Along with the rest just fills Dr Zecky's house with endless laughter! I was glad that my elder sister actually joined us for this little celebration.

To all my malay friends out there...

Selamat Hari Raya Aidifiltri!

-MinD VoLcaNo-

One friend once commented that I write well when I am in angst mode.

Lately, I realised my mind would erupt with little writings at least once a day when something causes an impact on me with deep emotions.

Perhaps it might be the tiredness of the mind that led to such writings... Frankly, I never thought I would be able to survive with 4.5 hours of sleep for 4 days in a row and still continued working quite well. I must admit, 宫 has drawn me and my siblings into the story very well. Even my elder sister, who seldoms get so interested in such drama serials, got so sucked into the story that she couldn't wait to watch right to the last episodes! As such, all of us bull-doze all the way till 6am on early Sat morning.

I wonder if there are certain scenes that are actually not in the serial released in Singapore... cos there are some scenes in the MV that I don't recall seeing them in the show. Hmmm...

Back to the tiredness of the mind... I guess I have yet to find the right number of hours of sleep required for me to focus just right everyday. Was supposed to post those little writings that I had wrote but I forgot to bring them back. ^^ Shall post them up in later posts!

While the haze reigns the sky, let us drink more water, have more sleep to not fall into the hazy trap and fall sick!

-In Dreamland agaiN-

I'm sucked back into Dreamland once again...

The thing about Korean Drama Serials... There would usually be two guys who love and protect this lucky gal deeply and there will be this other gal who will either be a nasty character or an innocent party caught in between parties.

Dreamland indeed... the kinda fairy tale that is fast diminishing. Where divorce rates are raising in our little town, these drama serials seem to provide that comfort and magical world of love, giving the people out there that perhaps, with the slightest possibility, there still lies hope for true love, love that is strong and would last a lifetime...

I have 2 spending weakness... I would have mentioned it before in previous posts...

Yup, CDs and chocolates... I can never curb my spendings on those two things. As long as I set sights on it, I would get it without hesitation.

But I must admit, this is the first time I got the VCD and soundtrack, within a span of 1 day. The music and the songs used in this drama serial is really really good.

-The Lone feeL-

I can hardly recall the last time I leave the office in daylight.

I can hardly recall the last time I reach home from work before 7 p.m.

Having a piping hot dinner these days seems like a rare treat.

There are days where one can be immersed in good company and still feel so alone... In one particular social event that I attended, while I don't feel out of place, the lone feel just took over...

Similarly, the lack of support of a particular event also brought out the lone feel. No doubt that as friends, we wouldn't be calculative... but sometimes, a response does make a difference I guess.

The lone feel...
