-TeacheRs' DaY Is CominG-

Did these flowers for my colleague's daughter's nursery teachers. Thought I take pictures of it to remind myself that I've done this kind of wrapping before.

Looking back at my gift-making history, I'm still kinda hazy about what I'll be making for teachers' day. Given that I have about half a day more to complete the presents, I guess I better start fast!

Yup, I'm presently recouperating at home, on MC for 3 days. The pain seem to be worse than my first wisdom tooth extraction but this time, seems like my dentist decided not to sew the stitches to my cheek and so, I can speak properly unlike the last time! *grumble* Now I have no idea if he actually made a mistake the last time by stitching my cheek... Bleah...

Elder sister brought the family out for dinner @ Waraku... The food was lovely! My dad called me suaku for taking pictures but I just had to take pictures!!

My Suckao Mug is here!!! Did my first milk chocolate drink for my younger sister and my mother... ^^ Thanks Christopher, for ordering the mug for me!

-TPJC 20th Anniversary on 26.08.06-

Here are the pictures taken from the TPJC 20th Anniversary Dinner! It was quite a dinner with lots of chattering and laughter. Not much comments about the food though... Took photos with ex-principle, Mrs Susan Chan, the now VP, Mr Toh, my favourite chinese teacher, Mr Tan as well as the very pregnant Mdm Ang, the petite Mrs Neo, Mr Ivan Sum and Mdm Mai. I also ran into my choir senoirs, You Xiang and Lizhu! In fact, Lizhu is currently a teacher in TPJC!

Which reminds me... I did a memorable parking in the school compound. Being the first car to park at the compound where the flag raising is usually held, I had the chance to park my car at the edge of the compound and with the possibility of the car falling off the boundaries... Sheesh.

Then here's the complete group picture! Our senoirs, from Sea Sports Club were certainly a nice bunch of people to chat with! Most of us adjourned to a coffee session at Cafe Cartel after and chatted till close to 1 am! Thanks daN! For introducing such nice company!!! ^^

Its amazing how we chatted so much but at the end of the day, we didn't really catch the names of the senoirs. Their names will be confirmed sooN!!

I saw this beans for sale in Popular and decided to get one bean for Grace's Birthday.
Out of curiousity, I took one bean and grew it according to the instructions. And suprise! It bloated!!! Hahaha..

Sorry that the photos are a little blury but nontheless, you can see what I meant by bloated. ^^ Yup, I'm amused indeed...

And the NoiseMakers are back! Hahahah...

We kinda took ages to decide how we wanted to celebrate the birthdays that we delayed the celebrations for 2nd Quarter babies. Hence, we set an imprompto date and tada! Almost everyone turned up. Only Kun, D@n, Char, Jun and Gene couldn't make it due to their other commitments.

Nevertheless, I decided to hold a writing exercise for everyone to renew our friendship. Although all of us felt like we were doing our A levels again, busy scribbling away like the world was going to end. But all our efforts were worthwhile! ^^

It certainly brightened my Monday!

So what were the flowers for?? Its actually a NETS IT! advertisement! Really smart of them to think of this method!

On my way to the Esplanade to have dinner with my family, I came across this artistic picture...


Then I decided to take a photo of the lovely scenic view...

Didn't take any photos during dinner but here are the photos taken with my mom and younger sister! This nutty cheese cake that I had was made by my colleague! Really yummy and nutty!

My mom made me and my sister take a picture with that condo poster. And there's my first drink from Max Brenner! I'm totally in love with the stuff there. My elder sister bought me the "Mexican Spicy Chocolate" drink! Not bad indeed.

And I went Max Brenner yesterday with Christopher after watching the fireworks! Finally tasted the fondue and Suckao! Photos with Christopher. Shall upload later!

-Darkness... Cannot sEE, Cannot HeaR-

I finally found out the possible reason for this pain that I would experienced periodically on my right abdominal area over the past year but the way I found out wasn't a pleasant one.

As always, I made my way to work without having my breakfast in the morning. Its not that I'm not hungry but I just don't have the appetite in the morning, so I usually start munching only around 9-10am.

Was reading the shipping case to prep myself for the discussion I was suppose to have in the afternoon and the pain seemed to be a little more unbearable than usual.

Then it happened when the train went into the tunnel.

I felt a little nauseous... Wondered if I was going to puke in the train.

Then suddenly I can't see clearly. Colours were drained out of my eyes and the surrounding people turned into black and white images.

Then my ears were blocked.

I started sweating as well and all I could think of that moment was, should I faint, would my mom know where to find me?

So I started to use my brain to prevent me from fainting... kept repeating to myself that I cannot faint. And I force myself to knee down.

Pulled out my phone from my bag and called Alyn but there was no response so I messaged my second alternative person whom I believe would be in the office at that point in time.

Thank you J Ling... You were the only other person whom I could think of that would be in the office. Thank you for bringing Vinlee along and for accompanying me to the doctor's. I owe you one. =)

And Alyn, no worries alright, I understand why you couldn't pick up my call then. =)

Who would have thought that Gastric was that powerful eH? I'm going to have regular meals from now on...

In the 16 years that I've known Michael, I have never been to his house before. Finally, I went to his place yesterday to enjoy a fantastic view of the fireworks from the field just next to his block!

Its the time of the year for fireworks festival again! Though I missed the Team Italy's, I've made plans to make sure I catch the remaining teams' fireworks display! Here's 2 of the better videos I took for the fireworks display from Team Singapore!

It was great to meet up with S03 people again after quite awhile. =) Lovely company, lovely food!

The food range was wide and the desserts were really pretty and yummy! Check out the Tofu Burger and Soft Shell Crab Crepe!
