-PassioN-

Ever wonder how easy it is to kill passion?

Passion for anything would decrease over time, esp when one stops doing the related action to keep the passion alive...

I once thought that nothing would kill my passion...

But I guess I was wrong... I had joined a particular group in thinking that my passion would be kept alive though it wasn't completely related to my passion...

It nearly killed it...

-ChocolatE FonduE-

Home Made Chocolate Fondue can be very yummy. =)

Just prepare whatever you like to have to go with your mini chocolate fountain...

For me, large plates of fruits will suffice... esp honey dew, bananas and apples! And almond nuts!!!

Add a few candles and you'll have a splendid setting to spend time with your love ones too! ^.^

Thanks to my dear fren who celebrated her birthday at her house last week! She made this heavenly chocolate treat for us after a great steamboat dinner!

Budak Pantai ROCKS!!! Hahah....

Once again, a big thanks to all those who came along with me to help move and arrange the chairs. Mel, Daph, Carolyn and Justin, Thanks!

We toiled, we sweat but it was all worthwhile to help in the setting up of the seating area for the performance. As the olden sayings go, one will never know how tough things are till you try it yourself. I've always thought the chairs came from those containers at the rooftop. Little did I know that they came from the auditorium, level 1... To move chairs up to the rooftop was sure hard work but thanks to combine efforts of all of us, including liselle, chinks and a few others, the chairs got up there pretty fast! Danny sure is strong too! Hahah...

Lovely evening, though it drizzled on us for awhile... The songs were great as usual and the two new songs were fantastic! Which reminds me, Happy Birthday JOE! And an early shout out to DAphniE! Happy Birthday! =) Can't wait to hear more new songs from them... Will you guys do a new album soon??? Hahah... I want the new version of abba and all rice! Hahah...

It felt nice to be surrounded with frens from everywhere yesterday night. There was Sarah and Mike, Kun and Alicia, Nita and Yuying and Candice, Eulene and her fren and Daphnie and gang. Really enjoyed talking to Kun and Alicia too, hope Alicia will come join us for dinner before she leaves next month! I also enjoyed talking to Mikey daddy and Sarah mommy. Though we got into a mild jam on our way home, I really appreciated the ride home!

Woke up with aching arms this morning.... guess it means I need more exercise to free myself from all these kind of aching! Just came home from dinner, watched PCK musical earlier on... Well, it was ok, juz felt that the sound system wasn't that fantastic cos there are moment when my ears are blasted off while there are times when I can't really hear what the actors are talking about. Nevertheless, it will quite alright, had my share of laughter too.

Ok, time for tutorials again... more soon! Enjoy the weekend!

Plasir de Chanson... a night to celebrate music and enjoy music...

An event celebrated annually by tampinesians, performed by choristers...

I guess tradition is hard to break. I use to think that such a practice was carried out almost everywhere. But from the many concerts I've been to, I realise that I've never seen such practice being carried out... That Sat night's performance confirmed it all. Yes, this practice is definitely a tradition of the choristers of tpjc...

The art of pillaring...

An art usually performed after the choir thanked all the respective teachers-in-charge.

Done usually on the guy committee members only.

And still done despite the prescence of parents around with worried or shocked faces...

Yup, that's the tradition of the tpjc choir pple..

That aside, I enjoyed the performance tremendously given that its been quite awhile since I last attended a choral concert. I did find the concert a little short though but nevertheless, it was well done.

To my pleasant suprise, my conductor still remembers my name but on the other hand, he continuously harped about how my batch is by far the 'worst' batch he has ever had.... *sigh* Guess nothing we do can erase his memory of The Blue Bird we did in Austria then in a flat key.... But like Yixiong said, we may did badly for this particular song, we are still the most fun-loving batch ever! Which batch of tpjc choir would have the chance to experience sooooo much within a short span of 2 yrs?!?!? From Mikado to carolling to NDP recording (where we got super upset cos the NDP booklet left out our choir's name) to SYF to overseas competition and many many more....

Looking back, I would not exchange all these experiences for anything... and so I quote, from my secondary school days... "Choir has become part of my life..." and it will always be... =)
