Guess I've been neglecting my blog haven't I? Well, I've been bz? Hahah... Since the last time I blogged, I was down with a cough.... which became worse over the wks! And the cough juz had to attack me at this period when I'm having my voice class?!!!?!?! RaRR... Surprisingly though, I still can sing? Except for the many coughs in between of course. Luckily, my cough has subsided... Its still around, but I definitely hope I won't be bringing it into the new sem which will be starting in 1 and 1/2 wks! AH............. so fast!!! But guess I could use a break from work soon... =) The new holiday program that our centre is having is kinda more taxing and I'm pretty exhausted.
Lets see... The Budak Pantai concert rocked! *CheeRs for theM* Seriously, they blew me away... And the whole concert hall was almost filled! ... They were fantastic really... the only problem was... we only realised we were short of one ticket when we were walking towards the concert hall and as a result, Alvin din get to watch the concert... =( I felt bad... still do but hey Alvin, we will go for their friday performances as long as they hold it for next year k? =)
After the performance, me, kiat and azi went to the bazaar... can't believe that a year have passed since I went to the bazaar last year with azi, kay and mel! But we din lingered very long cos it was getting really late and so after about an hr, we took a cab home.
The cough got worse on sunday... but sunday was quite a happy day for me cos that's when I found out, through friendster mail, that my dear 'DajiE' was finally coming to Singapore after 2 long years! And best of all, she was to arrive on tuesday! Which was juz 2 days away! So for last week, besides working, I spent my thur and fri with 'DajiE'... We had so much to talk about but yet so little time! Not to mention, my cough wasn't helping me to talk properly to her as well. Though she was here for only 3days, I really am thankful for the time I had with her... Most of the choir gang gathered, except for those who had exams, and together, we went to Ma Maison to have dinner. Even Bin came! So it was really a chit chat session for all of us to catch up with each other. =)
After sending her off at the airport on fri, I went to Sashi's place, as promised, for her b-day party! But I din stayed for long cos I was really tired... But Sashi, I did enjoyed myself k? Though I din stay for very long! Lucky I din miss the cake cutting... hope u liked the present!
As for voice class, it has ended already and as usual, I wasn't able to sing properly but seems like the problem doesn't lie with the cough but with my support... guess not singing for 3 years kinda erased certain techniques I had for proper singing? hahah... still, I enjoyed it... juz regret that I had to go through it with cough... ~bleah~
OK.... been blabbing away.... that's all for today, maybe more soon? Sch is starting soon and I'll prob have more time on my hands! =) Tata!
